H2O+ Sweet Berry Body Balm and Bath Gel Aren't Regular Lifesavers - Makeup and Beauty Blog

Before sniffing H2o+'southward new Sweet Berry shower gel and body balm, I would have thought it cool that a candy visitor would e'er collaborate on a bathroom/beauty product. Now, I'm non then sure.

Since I know that LifeSavers didn't partner with H2O+ this year, there must be some other explanation for why H2O+'south new Sweet Drupe Moisturizing Body Balm ($eleven.50) and Shower & Bath Gel ($9) smell so much like LifeSavers Gummies, incidentally one of my favorite candies in the globe.

Mayhap in that location was an accident ane 24-hour interval in the Water+ labs… What if a technician who was working on the new products had an open bag of gummies in his shirt pocket? If he had leaned forward a little too far and let ane plop down into his chalice, that could explain the remarkably similar scents.

Yes, probably not. Simply yet — it would be kinda cool if that'south how it happened. 🙂

When it comes to bath and body products, I unremarkably prefer citrus and floral scents, so I was surprised to like Water+'s new Sweet Drupe Moisturizing Trunk Balm and Shower & Bath Gel then much.

While sweet, they don't overwhelm my sensitive nose. I find them calorie-free and fresh, and non anywhere nigh as cloying as the drupe-themed body products I've tried from Victoria'due south Secret and Bathroom & Trunk Works.

Of grade, scent is a matter of personal preference, only that'southward the beauty of beauty products like these. Nosotros can sniff sample them before choosing to bring them home.

Shower & Bath Gel ingredients

The Shower & Bath Gel feels a niggling thicker and stickier than I normally like and does accept a while to rinse, but it certainly cleans well, probably due in part to the inclusion of TEA-Lauryl Sulfate, a potent, just sometimes irritating, cleanser. Information technology hasn't bothered me, simply it's just something to note.

Every bit a side, I've been using it as a shave cream for my legs, and for that I think it rocks.

The Moisturizing Body Wash also gets the task done. I like that it doesn't leave my peel feeling oily or greasy, and it's pretty chop-chop absorbed.

This is pretty random, only ane of the ingredients, citronellol, sounds a lot like citronella, which appears in many mosquito repellants. Apparently, it's closely related. It appears hither because of its rose-like fragrance, just who knows? Information technology might even aid to keep pesky mosquitoes abroad…although I'g not certain I'm dauntless enough to exam that theory. 🙂
